a few words about us...

The HamburgerSV Supporters UK OFC was founded in 2004 by 3 HSV fans from Blackburn, Lancashire and in 2005 received official recognition from HSV Supporter Club. We now have over 60 members throughout the UK and even beyond. The OFC number is 8044

Dave "Kaiser" Pearson (pictured right, top picture) has been a HSV fan since 1998. He has followed Glasgow Rangers for many years and can remember their glory years in Europe. He is also involved in the Linfield North of England Supporters Club which backs the Linfield club in Belfast.

Jim Curtis (2nd picture down) has been a HSV fan since 2002. He had a season ticket for Manchester City for 20+ years in the days when you could afford to have one without having to live off bread and water. He now has a season ticket for his local club Blackburn Rovers and is also a shareholder in Chester City. 

Ruth Curtis (3rd picture down) is a life-long Manchester City fan who has followed HSV since visiting the HSH Nordbank Arena for a pre-season match between City and HSV in 2002. She also supports Belle Vue Aces speedway team

We organise regular trips across to watch HSV matches. Last season (2008/9) we made the trip across quite a few times, including wins v Leverkusen and Bayern and defeats at Hannover and Monchengladbach, but we were especially proud to welcome HSV to England when they played former football club Manchester City in the UEFA Cup quarter final. After a win in Hamburg 3-1, we went through to the semi final after a hard fought 2-1 defeat. In May, with dreams of UEFA Cup final and DFB Pokal final shattered on a Bremen shaped rock we enjoyed the last 2 games of the season as HSV amazingly claimed a place in the Europa league
